My Journey:
Out of high school, I decided to major in philosophy like so many looking for direction. I always enjoyed critical thinking and studying philosophy allowed me to explore the many questions life presents. Ultimately, even as I pondered the various career options open to me, my father's twenty-five-plus year property management business, which he built from nothing, inspired me to follow in his footsteps. Eventually, he convinced me to join him in his dream. In 2006 I acquired my Real Estate Salesperson license and transferred to California State University, Fullerton. Their business program (Mihaylo College of Business and Economics) had a new major in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance that interested me. I worked full-time while attending college and graduated in 2010. Once I earned my Real Estate Broker's license in 2014, I took over my father's business so he could retire.
For the past thirteen years, I have primarily managed investment commercial and residential properties throughout Orange County. From single-family residences, townhomes, and apartment structures to 40,000 sq ft commercial complexes. During that time I remained active with real estate sales transactions with family, friends, clients, and a few 1031 exchanges. Yet despite my financial success, I still felt that there was something missing. That was when I learned of First Team Real Estate. From the moment I walked into the office, I immediately realized what it was that I was missing. It was leadership. It was camaraderie. It was supported.
Regardless of whether it's a first-time home buyer or a past client, a real estate transaction is one of the most impactful and satisfying experiences for a person like myself. To help someone reach their goal of establishing a home or home base so that they can achieve their life's ambitions leaves me with a sense of accomplishment. I sincerely believe in transparency and honest communication with all clients, along with having the patience to empathize with any concerns that arise. To me, this is not about a single transaction. To me, this is about building relationships with clients and future relationships with their family and friends. And relationships are nothing without a foundation of trust and respect.
